    祥云图案的创作目前主要依赖手工绘制,现有的大部分研究工作主要针对真实感云和烟的模拟和绘制,本文提出一个基于样例和交互式草图的祥云图案生成模型。首先对手绘的祥云图案样例进行特征线的提取并归一化后形成特征库;用户输入简单的二维草图来分别表示云头、云体和云尾的骨架曲线;算法对云体和云头的草图轨迹进行非均匀自动划分得到生成线段集,利用这些线段到特征库中寻找相应的特征曲线并安装来得到云体和云头部分;通过对云尾骨架曲线进行平移和缩放来过程化生成云尾部分。实验结果表明,通过该生成模型,用户通过很少的交互和参数控制就可以生成大量具有手绘风格特征的祥云图案。

    Abstract:

    Currently auspicious clouds are mainly created by hand. Most of previous research works focus on realistic cloud and smoke simulation, and little effort has been paid to the cloud patterns with traditional Chinese style. A data-driven and sketch-based cloud generation model with traditional Chinese style is presented. First, the feature curves are extracted from the hand-painted auspicious cloud pattern samples and normalized to form a feature library. The user draws a simple two-dimensional sketch to represent the skeleton curves of the cloud head, cloud body and cloud tail respectively. The algorithm performs non-uniform automatic division of the cloud body sketch trajectory to obtain a generated line segment set and then find the suitable curve depending on every line segment in the feature library and mount it. The cloud tail part is procedurally generated by panning and scaling the cloud tail skeleton curve. Experimental results show that the proposed model is able to generate a wide variety of auspicious cloud patterns with hand-painted style features with little interaction and parameter control.
