Based on the technology features and configuration characteristics, the highsp eed rotorcraft can be classified as the compound helicopter, the tiltrotor/win g rotorcraft, and the rotor/winginterchanging rotorcraft. After studying the t echnology development of three categories of the highspeed rotorcraft, the dev eloping direction and trend are analyzed. Furthermore, combined with the current status of highspeed rotorcraft in China, recommendations and measures are pro posed to improve the development level of highspeed rotorcraft in China.
